Class Photo is a platform designed to help users create, preserve, and share digital Class Photos. Because our platform allows any user to initiate a Class Photo, we prioritize transparency and the privacy of the individuals depicted.

1. User-Created Class Photos
The Creator Role: Any user who initiates a Class Photo (the “Creator”) is responsible for the content they upload.

Consent Warranty: By creating a Class Photo or adding participants, the Creator represents that they have obtained the necessary permission from all individuals (or their legal guardians) appearing in the photo.

Private by Default: Class Photos are shared via a private link or unique ID. They are not publicly searchable or indexed by search engines.

2. Information We Collect
Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile details provided during registration.

Visual Content: The Class Photos you upload, along with any names or “tags” associated with the participants.

Metadata: To protect privacy, we automatically strip GPS location data from uploaded Class Photos.

Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the app to help us troubleshoot and improve the experience.

3. How We Use Your Class Photos
We use your data exclusively to:

Generate, host, and display your Class Photos to authorized viewers.

Allow you to invite others to view or join a Class Photo.

Maintain the security of our platform and prevent unauthorized access.

Note: We do not use the faces in your Class Photos for facial recognition training or advertising profiles.

4. Control and Ownership
Participant Rights: If you appear in a Class Photo created by someone else and wish to be removed, you may contact us or the Creator to have your image or name deleted.

Deletion: Creators can delete a Class Photo at any time. Once deleted, the photo is removed from our active databases, though it may persist in encrypted backups for a short period (up to [30] days).

No Selling of Data: We do not sell your Class Photos or your personal information to third parties.

5. Protecting Minors (COPPA & GDPR-K)
If a Class Photo includes children:

Guardian Consent: The Creator must ensure they have verifiable parental consent before uploading images of minors.

Takedown Requests: We provide an expedited process for parents to request the removal of their child’s likeness from any Class Photo hosted on our platform.

6. Security & Storage
Access Control: Access to a Class Photo is restricted to those who create the class photo and those that the class photo has been shared with.

Encryption: We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect your photos during upload and at rest on our servers.

7. Prohibited Uses
Users may not create Class Photos that:

Contain images of individuals who have not consented to be included.

Include inappropriate, harassing, or illegal content.

Are used for commercial solicitation or “doxing.”
